MONGOL ELS was officially founded in 1995 by the union of two highly experienced companies in the light gauge engineering and construction framing fields. Co-founders Steve Colussi and Ray VanGroll have combined their 50 years of construction knowledge in the light gauge steel industry to provide a total turn-key structural shell package for owners and developers of hotels, apartments, condos, senior living, student housing, military housing, and the self-storage unit industries.

MONGOL ELS specializes in finding the right structural solution to use in the construction of light gauge steel shell packages for projects around the United States, Canada, and abroad. MONGOL ELS manufactures many of its products including Ispan floor joists and a unique long span metal decking to offer our clients a variety of choices that are sure to suite the specific needs of the project. MONGOL ELS assists with building code requirements and value engineers our systems to provide the highest quality product at a reasonable cost.

MONGOL ELS® currently operates in Canada, the United States, and abroad. The company name, MONGOL ELS®, was officially founded in Toronto in 1995 by the merger of two highly experienced companies in the light gauge drywall and engineering fields. Shortly thereafter, MONGOL ELS® expanded its offering and became incorporated in the United States out of New Jersey, and has been successfully creating a legacy ever since.

Co-founders Steve Colussi and Raymond VanGroll have combined their 50 years of construction knowledge in the light gauge industry to complete over 10 Million square feet of Hotels, apartments, condos, senior living, student housing, military housing, and self-storage units combined.
